How do I subscribe to Miraj Stories?

It’s easy. Just follow these steps:

  • Download the Miraj Stories app to your smartphone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play Store
  • On the home page, tap on any of the books with a ‘lock’ sign
  • In the new window, pick either monthly or yearly plan and follow the payment instructions.

You and your children can then watch and read our Islamic stories in no time.

What do I get with my subscription?

You’ll unlock a whole world of content including audiobooks, videos, interactive educational games and digital books. It’s the perfect place to read, watch and listen to Islamic stories for kids. They’ll love to meet their Muslim heroes, read short stories with morals and absorb Islamic values.

How do I start?

Once you’ve subscribed, tap the app and you’re up and running with full access to engaging animated stories of the prophets, books and a whole range of fun, educational games.

Can I share the Miraj subscription on other devices?

Yes, you can share your Miraj subscription with the members of your immediate family: your partner and children. The license doesn’t extend to people outside your family. If you’d like to use the Miraj app in a class at school please email hello@mirajstories.com.

iOS Subscription

To share your subscription on other iOS devices, those devices need to be logged in with the Apple ID that made the original purchase before installing the app. Then go to the Miraj app’s Settings and click Restore Purchase. The app should unlock.

Alternatively, register an account in the Miraj app’s Settings on your device, download the Miraj app to your second device, go to its Settings, click Register / Log In, then click ‘Already Have an Account’ and log in.

Android Subscription

To share your subscription on other Android devices, before you install the app on those devices, log in to them with the Google account that was used to make the original purchase. Then go to the Miraj app’s Settings and click Restore Purchase.

Alternatively, register an account in the Miraj app’s Settings on your device, download the Miraj app to your second device, go to its Settings, click Register / Log In, then click ‘Already Have an Account’ and log in.

*App Store and Google Play don’t allow Family Sharing for subscriptions.

What type of content do you provide?

There’s a range of Islamic audiobooks, interactive books, picture books and animated stories, as well as Islamic educational games and activities. It’s been designed to appeal to Muslim children between 4 and 11. All the content is Islamic-themed and includes, among other things, stories of all the Prophets in Islam, Muslim history, inspirational Islamic short stories as well as activities relating to the Arabic alphabet and the names of Allah.

Will you be adding new content?

Absolutely. That’s part of the fun. We’ll be adding new Muslim stories for kids and other content every month.

Why are the animations not working/ lagging?

Hmm. First thing to do is try to restart the app. If there’s still a problem, don’t worry. Just send us an email at hello@mirajstories.com and we’ll sort it out.

Can I use the app without an Internet connection?

Yes you can if you download the books to your device first. Then you can take your children’s Islamic stories and games with you wherever you go.

Do you offer music-free versions of your stories?

Yes, all our Islamic stories for children come with or without music. Just toggle the music off in settings.

Where do your stories come from?

Islamic scholars have checked all our stories of the Prophets, which are mainly based on the Qur’an and Hadith. Some of our stories also come from the Old Testament, when it doesn’t contradict the Islamic teachings.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you want to say goodbye to the Miraj Stories library app, we’ll be sorry to see you go. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time in the following ways:

In the Miraj app’s Settings, click Cancel Subscription.

Alternatively follow these instructions:

On an Apple device

  • Open the App Store app
  • Click your profile picture on the top right
  • Click Subscriptions
  • Click Miraj Stories
  • Tap Cancel Subscription

On an Android device

  • Open the Google Play Store
  • Tap Menu > Account > Subscriptions
  • Find the subscription you want to cancel
  • Tap Cancel

On PayPal

  • Log in to your PayPal account
  • Click Profile / Gear on the top right corner of the page
  • Click Payments
  • Click Manage Automatic Payments
  • Click Miraj Studios
  • Click Cancel
  • Follow the instructions to cancel the agreement

Important

You won’t automatically stop your subscription just by uninstalling the app because Apple or Google will still charge you. You will have to cancel your subscription using the process described above.
You can unsubscribe or change your subscription plan any time before your current subscription period ends.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, you can.

If you subscribed directly in the Miraj App, click the appropriate link below and follow the instructions:

 

If you subscribed on the Miraj Stories website via PayPal, please email the purchase invoice to hello@mirajstories.com with a subject line REFUND.

How can I try out the app without paying?

We offer a 7-day free trial for you to try out the entire Library. You can claim it by subscribing to either the monthly or yearly package. You will not be charged as long as you cancel before the end of your free trial.

I am unable to pay through Google / Apple, how else can I subscribe?

First, please check the following and try again:

  • Make sure there is a valid bank card linked to your Apple ID / Google Account
  • Make sure you have a good Internet connection before subscribing
  • Try using a different card to subscribe

I have paid for the app, why is all the content still locked?

First, please try restarting the app.

If that doesn’t work, please check if your subscription has gone through:

iOS

  • Open your iOS device Settings
  • Click your Apple ID at the top
  • Click Subscriptions
  • See if Miraj Stories is listed there

Android

  • Open Google Play
  • Click your Profile Picture next to the search bar
  • Click Payments and Subscriptions
  • Click Subscriptions
  • See if Miraj Stories is listed there

If Miraj Stories is listed there, then: 

  • Take a screenshot of the subscriptions page
  • Create an account from within the Miraj app
    • Open the Miraj Stories app
    • Go to Settings
    • Click on Register / Log In
    • Enter your email and a password
    • Click Register
  • Email us the screenshot and the email address you used to register at hello@mirajstories.com 

If it is not listed, then the subscription did not go through

  • Please make sure your internet connection is strong
  • Try subscribing again

 

PayPal

If you subscribed on the Miraj Stories website via PayPal, please check the email associated with your PayPal account, there should be an email from us with your account login details and instructions on how to access the app.

Can I switch my subscription from Monthly to Yearly or vice versa?

Yes, you can. You will need to cancel your current subscription first. When that subscription comes to an end and your Miraj app becomes locked, you can resubscribe to a different plan.

Can I use the Miraj Stories app on a computer / laptop?

This option is only available through a third party software called BlueStacks.

Instructions on how to download and get Miraj Stories running on BlueStacks is linked here

*Please note the Miraj app is designed as a mobile application and might not run as smoothly using BlueStacks on some computers. You might also come across some bugs while using the Miraj app with BlueStacks. These are caused by the third party software and are outside our control.

Can I use the Miraj Stories app on a TV?

iOS

Android

Unfortunately, the Miraj app is not compatible with Chromecast. However, there are third-party ‘mirror phone to TV’ apps available on Google Play. You can download the one compatible with your device and use that instead.

Some of the content is missing / I can’t find some of the animations anymore

The app has a ‘No Music’ mode that may have been selected by accident. This will hide all content with music, including animation series.

To change it, go to the Miraj app’s Settings and toggle the Music option back on.
